Alviss Consulting and the St Vincent de Paul Society initiated the Tariff-Tracking project in 2010. The project has produced numerous jurisdictional and national comparison reports to date.

The Tarrif-Tracking project collects all residential gas and electricity prices as of the annual reset each year (as well as in January in Victoria). It analyses changes in pricing, solar feed-in-tariffs, discounts, incentives, and other terms and conditions, as well as broader market developments.

The rationale for tracking changes to domestic energy prices has been to document price changes, analyse market developments and inform the broader community about bill impacts and potential savings to be made.

An archive of Tariff-Tracker update reports is available below. Please contact us if a specific report you are interested in is not listed. For this project’s associated workbooks please visit the St Vincent de Paul Society.
